Welcome to Peter Young Shoes (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Peter Young Shoes is an Australian online retailer based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
We sell quality footwear sourced mainly from European and independent brands.

By using our website and making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all details you provide are accurate and complete.

2. Products and Availability

We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your device’s display.
All items are subject to availability. If an item you’ve ordered becomes unavailable, we’ll contact you promptly and offer an alternative or refund.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other payment methods supported by Stripe.

Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.
We do not store or have access to your full card details — all payments are encrypted and handled directly by Stripe.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We ship Australia-wide. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.

You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

5. Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase. We are happy to exchange within 14 days providing they are:

  • Unworn and in original condition, and

  • In the original box with tags intact.

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the item.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

7. Customer Accounts

Customers may create an account for easier checkout and order history tracking.
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure. We’re not liable for any unauthorised access to your account.

8. Privacy and Security

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use Lightspeed to manage inventory and orders, and Stripe for payment processing. Both platforms comply with industry security standards (including PCI-DSS).

We never sell or share your data with unrelated third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peter Young Shoes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
