Returns & Refunds Policy – Peter Young Shoes

Effective Date: 15th September 2025

At Peter Young Shoes, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer returns and exchanges in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Change of Mind Returns

  • We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unworn, in original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs (unless the product is faulty).

  • Once received and inspected, we will issue a store credit, exchange, or refund to your original payment method.

2. Faulty or Defective Products

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if your product has a major fault under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Major faults include issues that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about them, or problems that make the product unsafe or unusable.

  • For minor faults, we may offer a repair or replacement.

  • We will cover the cost of return postage for faulty or incorrect items.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Worn shoes

  • Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty)

  • Gift cards

4. How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us at peteryoungshoes@icloud.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if faulty).

  2. We will provide instructions for returning the item.

  3. Pack the shoes securely in their original box and outer packaging.

  4. Post to:

5. Refunds

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed back to your original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–7  business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange for a different size, style, or colour, please contact us first to check availability. Exchanges are subject to stock on hand.
